Ragamuffin Poncho

A little crochet, a little upcycling, and absolutely no chance of running into someone wearing the same thing.

Handmade by Michelle Giraud, this one-of-a-kind crochet poncho is created from a colorful mixture of acrylic and cotton yarns in warm, earthy shades of rust, burgundy, cream, brown, and orange.

The best part? It can be worn two different ways. Turn it one direction to wear the crochet point in front for a classic diamond-shaped poncho, or rotate it to put the square edge in front for a completely different silhouette. A tie at the neckline helps keep everything comfortably in place.

Around the edges is a free-spirited mix of upcycled fabrics, lace, yarns, ribbons, and textured trims. The intentionally mismatched pieces give it that perfectly imperfect, collected-over-time look and make this piece truly impossible to duplicate.
